Afternoon At Home

boxes are fun
cooking
farm house fun
so tired

Because of car trouble Jameson and I spent the afternoon at home. He missed playing with Jack so I had to think of new games to keep him busy. All that playing led to a nap on the couch. So sweet!

Weekend At Chena Hot Springs

This weekend Drew and I went to Chena Hot Springs for much needed rest and relaxation. Jameson stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's house for a sleep over. He was a very good boy! He slept all night in his crib and did not have any tantrums. Well Grandma did let him eat cookies for breakfast, but Drew and I did not care after soaking in the hot water. We had a great time; soaked in the water, ate at the lodge and enjoyed a romantic night. We especially appreciated a full, uninterupted nights sleep. I'm glad we got to celebrate Valentines Day early because Drew will be busy every Saturday until May. He starts a welding certification program next weekend.

Moose Watcher

Jameson and Drew in the batcave

Moose in the yard
Jameson watching for moose

This part of the year is cold and dark, but amazingly beautiful. Yesterday my little moose watcher spotted two moose outside our cabin. Jameson said, "Mama Moose" and I looked to see a mom and baby moose. The moose have been keeping the Huskies awake for two nights. As I went outside to the dog yard at 3 am I saw the most beautiful Northern lights. Only in Alaska.

Busy Days

playing cars

cooking dinner

I had some technical problems but now I am good to go and able to post more pictures on the blog. Our days have been busy the last couple of weeks. I am now working 20 hours a week watching Jack, my girlfriend's little boy. Jack has been featured on the blog many times! Jameson and I go over to Jack's house every afternoon from 1 to 5pm. It is working out great. Jameson loves playing with all Jack's toys. He usually falls asleep on the drive home, tries to eat dinner and goes straight to bed at seven. Some days he is so tired out he sleeps through dinner. Jack is also having fun. He is getting used to his Mama leaving and starting to llisten to me. Here are some photos from the last couple of weeks of the boys playing.

Our finished houses
Ahren, Jack and Julie joined Jameson and I for a gingerbread house party. I made the graham cracker houses before hand. Everyone brought candy and we had lots of fun decorating our candy village. The boys enjoyed eating the candy off the houses before the frosting dried. I made candy people, trees and cars to adorn the houses.
