Hockey skates

Drew got Jameson hockey skates for Christmas. Today we went skating at the pond down the road. Jameson did great and was asking for more when it was time to leave. I was surprised he could stand when wearing the skates. Drew skated him all around. I think this is the starting of a love for hockey.

Cookie Making

Jameson and I make a lot of cookies together. Here he is wearing his new car apron that Grandma make him. He is then practicing cutting out shapes with play dough.

Bath time fun

Nana and Papa sent Jameson a road system and fleet of vehicles to play with in the tub. I can't think of a place in our house that does not have Jameson's cars integrated in to it! He goes nuts for cars. He thought the present was fun out of the box. Then it just got better in the tub.

"My own guitar!"

Jameson loves to hear Drew play the guitar and try to play himself. For Christmas Drew got him his own guitar. He was very excited to play the child size guitar. Drew tuned it up the night before which my ears appreciated. Jameson has been really gentle with it and knows it belongs in the box when it is not being played.

Christmas fun!

Jameson had a lot of fun at Christmas this year. He was a very good boy this year and got a lot of gifts. He has been enjoying all the special presents the received this past week. Here is Jameson playing with his world map he got from Nana and Papa. It has boosted his animal vocabulary. He learned whale, otter, rhino and turtle this week. He also loves his new monster truck pjs.

Decorating houses this year

This year's houses

We had Jack and Julie over to decorate gingerbread houses again this year. The boys stuck candy on the houses this year which was an improvement from last year. They ate a lot of candy too. I can't wait to see what they can do next year!

shhh! baby is sleeping

Jameson got a baby doll from Grandma to learn what it is like to have a new baby around. He loves taking care of the baby. He helps me feed, soothe, change diapers and put his doll to sleep. He told me babies are stinky and they cry a lot.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays from Lily, Drew and Jameson!

2007 was another healthy and busy year for us. Drew completed his apprenticeship program and is now a journeyman plumber. He enjoyed hunting and fishing this year. He also continued his hobby of beer making. I kept busy with two year old Jameson. Jameson is a very active and happy toddler. He enjoys reading and loves anything with a motor. We are expecting another baby in March. We have plans to finish construction on a garage this summer to give us more space for our growing family. Hope this letter greets you with health and happiness.

Night Two

Last night was the second night Jameson was in his race car bed. He had a perfect night of sleep to my relief. He went to bed at 8:30pm, woke up at 2am to use the potty, went right back to sleep and got up at 6:30am.
