Garage Updates

The garage is almost closed up for the winter. This week the garage door was put in and the inside is being painted. There is electrical power also now.

Rock a Bye Baby

Eva is really interested in everything around her. She loves Drew's guitar playing. Here is a video of her rocking out. She is also enjoying interactive toys.

Here is baby Jameson around the same age enjoying Drew's guitar playing.

Little Helper

Drew has been cutting firewood every weekend to heat our garage for the winter. He filled Jameson's john deere trailer with wood. Jameson was very happy to have a chore and be Daddy's helper. He wants to help Drew work on the garage so badly but it is too dangerous most times for him to be included. Drew was very proud to have such a hard working helper. Jameson loaded and unloaded that stack of wood twenty times before his birthday party.

Jameson's Birthday Party

Here is Jamie driving his tractor cake

The cake was a joint effort. I made the apple cake and Ahren decorated it with cream cheese frosting. It was delicious!

ride-alongs for the party

Jameson practiced the day before blowing out the candles. He did great, blowing one out at a time.

Jameson had a great birthday party. We enjoyed all the friends who came and played. Thank goodness we could have the party in the garage because it rained on and off all day. The boys loved the John Deere theme. They played tractors in the mud and rode bikes together. Ahren decorated the cake for me and it turned out perfect! Jameson was not interested in any food except the cake so we cut that first. I don't think a child went home dry because there were giant mud puddles in which they were jumping in. I changed Jameson's clothes three times during the party.

Birthday #3

"This monster card is so funny!"

What is in the package?

Yes, it is that time of year again. Jameson is turning three years old! He opened his first present from Nana and Papa; a great new backpack for school. He showed Drew all the pockets to put pencils in. It will be a perfect backpack for preschool. Jameson starts preschool two mornings a week this fall and is so excited. Thanks so much Nana and Papa!

He thought the birthday card was so funny and carried it around laughing. I asked him what he was doing and he said, "I read my mail, Mama."
The birthday festivities will continue this weekend with a john deere party!
